Meet Dr. Tina Ting
HOLISTIC APPROACH
TO PET CARE

Dr. Tina Ting earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University in 2007. During veterinary school, she received numerous awards and scholarships, including a coveted scholarship to the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine for continued study in holistic medicine and acupuncture.
At the Chi Institute, Dr. Ting completed rigorous training and received her Certification in Veterinary Acupuncture under Dr. Huisheng Xie, a world-renowned practitioner.
As a child, she remembers seeing many family members benefit tremendously from Eastern medical treatments, especially acupuncture. Growing up in an Asian family surrounded by so many proponents of acupuncture and witnessing the benefits firsthand left a lasting impression on her. She wanted her patients to benefit just as her relatives had benefited on so many occasions throughout the years.
Since 2007, Dr. Ting has been employing acupuncture and an integrative approach to patient care, yielding many happy, healthy, and pain-free patients. Dr. Ting is also certified in Veterinary Medical Manipulation (similar to chiropractic). It has proven to be a great complement to acupuncture and herbal therapy.
Most patients tolerate treatments very well, and the non-invasive nature of acupuncture is invaluable when working on very sick and elderly patients. Dr. Ting treats a majority of patients with a combination of acupuncture, Chinese Herbal supplements, Medical Manipulation (similar to chiropractic adjustments), and food therapy/dietary modification when necessary.
